Chef Sam Butarbutar and Wenter Shyu started Third Culture Bakery together in 2016, offering pastries reflective of their childhood in Indonesia and Taiwan. The bakery has built a cult following in the Bay Area and their original Mochi Muffin® and Mochi Donuts literally fly out of the store. I helped Sam & Wenter update the Third Culture matcha packaging to better align with the brand. Our secondary goals were to simplify the packaging process, and create a fully compliant package for retail.
